Prize money and prizes to a total value of 250.000 SEK, and the winning team will have a free entry to the Adventure Racing World Championship in Spain Sep 30 – Oct 9, 2010.
The prize money is divided as follows
1st place
50.000 SEK and a Free entry to the Adventure Racing World Championship 2010 in Spain (total value of about 80.000 SEK)
2nd place
Prizes of a value of 20.000 SEK, and the team are directly qualified to the Adventure Racing World Championship 2010 in Spain.
3rd place
Prizes of a value of 15.000 SEK
4th place – prizes to a value of 12.000 SEK
5th place – prizes to a value of 9.000 SEK
6th place – prizes to a value of 6.000 SEK
7th place – prizes to a value of 3.500 SEK
8th place – prizes to a value of 2.000 SEK
9th place – prizes to a value of 1.500 SEK
10th place – prizes to a value of 1.000 SEK
11th place – prizes to a value of 1.000 SEK
12th place – prizes to a value of 1.000 SEK
13th place – prizes to a value of 1.000 SEK
14th place – prizes to a value of 1.000 SEK
15th place – prizes to a value of 1.000 SEK

Entry Fee
30.000 SEK with own assistants
+ 6.000 SEK if you using the organisations transport during the race.
The amount shall be paid as follows in two instalments:
One week after your registration: 7.000 SEK (When you have done the registration at the web page, and get a confirmation from the organisation. Your spot is not yours until you done this first payment.
Final payment, the remaining entry fee must be paid before June 1. And then teams that have chosen the transport by the organisation will pay the 5.000SEK together with the remaining entry fee.
All teams will at the registration hand in a deposit of 5.000 SEK, this is a deposit for the kayaks and all the other equipment the organisation provide. After the race the deposit will be given back as long all the equipment are ok.
Entry fee discount
We will have a fast surf-ski/multisport kayak river section at the end of the race.
If a team lend a surf-ski/multisport kayak to the organisation, the team will have a 1.000 SEK discount per boat on the entry fee.
We will re-use the surf-skis/multisport kayaks so all the teams will paddle this section on surf-skis/multisport kayaks.
Rules: If the team decide to lend out the surfskis/multisport kayak, they need to be transported to Piteå before the race during the 7th or 8th of July.
The team must contact the organisation to get the surf-ski/multisport kayak authorised, all categories in the fast range of boats are welcome, even stable ones as long they have the rudder in the back.
At the start of the section the top teams can of course choose their one kayaks, but they need to lend the boats for the teams that comes later.
The section is in a nice river with some very short rapids, if the rapids are to tough at the time, the teams will carry around them.
All the kayaks will be photographed before the section and after, and the racing team will be responsible for the kayaks.
The Race Entry fee includes
- Maps and road book
- Bibvest
- Prize giving ceremony after the race
- All canoes and kayaks
Only registration forms filled in with complete information on all members of the team, one of which must be team captain, will be accepted. You also have to send a picture of each team member.
Team member photos should be mailed to info@exploresweden.se.
One or more members of the team may be replaced until the day of registration.
Recommended accommodation
To be announced.
It will be mandatory for all teams to stay in the camping area that the organisation put up between July 9th – 11th . Teams must stay in tents and not in the assistant vehicle or others.
Insurance
All participants compete at their own risk and the organisers will not accept liability for any personal accident or injury during the event. A liability form must be completed and signed by all competitors.
All international competitors must be covered by personal medical insurance for participating in the race.
Evidence of medical cover must be presented to the organisation before racing (with policy number, company name, address, phone number and email address). If copies of insurance are not provided before or on registration, the team will not be allowed on the course.
International competitor’s insurance policies must state that cover for all disciplines during an Adventure Race; including kayaking, rope skills, mountain biking is provided.
